I'm seeking the friendship of someone who can look beyond the mistakes of my adolescent past and realize that it has no bearing on my personality. I am a very down to earth person with a strong sense of loyalty. The type of individual who would be that walking diary to a friend, and never reveal the secrets of a shared friendship, even if we have a falling out. I'm the type of person who would give a starving bum on the street $10.00 even if I only had $20.00 left. I'm also the type if individual who would stand alone (or united) for a cause that I believe strongly about, even though others may reject me for my beliefs. I also enjoy the company of anyone who can make me laugh, and have fun. I'm very open-minded, compassionate, assertive, intelligent, spontaneous (I do let the little child within out to play), and I have a good sense of humor. I've been in the system almost 20 years. The winning of this appeal will put me out the door this year. If not, I have five years to go. Needless to say, I doubt I'll stay much longer. Life as I remember it has totally changed. I want to get back re-established in society, but nothing would please me more than to have a friend who can ride of the rest of my sentence with me, and remain part of my life in society. I'm not here to be temporary but hopefully establish lifetime friends. So write me and tell me about yourself.
